RacingLine VWR S 31G70RW Sport Lowering Springs replaces the four standard springs with vehicle-specific progressive-rate RacingLine Sport Springs for Volkswagen Golf R Estate/Wagon models across the Mk7, Mk7.5 and Mk8 generations. The lower centre of gravity reduces excess body roll and sharpens the car’s response while the progressive rate retains useful compliance through normal suspension travel.

RacingLine develops each application around the factory damper travel rather than chasing an excessive drop. The middle of the spring travel remains close to the standard rate, then adds support near the end of the travel under harder braking and cornering. The springs are compatible with the factory adaptive dampers where listed, so their normal electronic adjustment is retained.
