MMX BMW N54/N55 Low-Temperature Oil Thermostat is designed to bring the engine-oil cooler circuit into operation earlier than the factory thermostat, helping control oil temperature during sustained performance use.

MMX specifies an operating range of approximately 90–110°C. The replacement thermostat installs into the compatible factory housing, retaining a tidy factory-style arrangement while providing a lower-temperature strategy.
