RacingLine VWR A 810003 Carbon Fibre Rear Body Brace is a vehicle-specific chassis reinforcement for the Volkswagen Polo Mk6 GTI AW and facelift AW.2. It ties together strong factory mounting points at the rear of the cabin to reduce bodyshell flex and help the suspension maintain more consistent geometry when the car is loaded through corners.

The brace combines a lightweight, ultra-stiff carbon-fibre link bar with solid billet-aluminium mounts. RacingLine develops the mounting layout to reinforce the rear of the shell without drilling the body or removing the interior trim. The complete installation is reversible, and the rear seats can remain in normal use, folded down or removed.

By reducing unwanted movement between the rear suspension mounting areas, the brace is designed to give the driver a more precise and connected response during turn-in and rapid direction changes. It does not alter spring or damper rates, so the aim is improved chassis consistency without the ride-quality or noise, vibration and harshness compromises associated with solid suspension components.

Vehicle fitment: RacingLine lists VWR810003 for the Volkswagen Polo GTI AW from 2017 onward. The Vehicle Fitment tab separates that continuing application into the original AW model and the facelift AW.2 so year selection remains accurate and does not expose the product to earlier Polo generations.

Important: this brace is not the MQB Golf/Leon/Octavia brace and is not a generic MEB-platform part. Confirm the vehicle is a five-door Polo GTI AW or AW.2 and compare the rear mounting points before ordering, especially on imported, repaired or modified vehicles.

Installation: professional installation is recommended. All mounting hardware must be positioned and tightened in the sequence and to the specifications in the RacingLine fitting instructions. After installation, check rear-seat latching and luggage-area clearance before driving. This brace must not be used as a mounting point for seat belts, child restraints or competition harnesses.
