Description
RacingLine VWR A 810005 Rear Underbody Tunnel Brace replaces the thin stamped-steel factory tunnel brace on compatible MQB and MQB Evo vehicles. Its substantially stiffer billet construction helps reduce body flex during demanding road or track use, while the stepped profile provides valuable clearance for larger-diameter aftermarket exhaust systems.
The brace is CNC-machined in the UK from a solid billet of 6061-T6 aluminium. RacingLine’s FEA-developed triangulation maximises rigidity without unnecessary weight, and the polished gloss-black anodised finish protects the brace beneath the vehicle. Installation reuses the original mounting points and bolts, so no drilling or permanent body modification is required.
