Description
RacingLine VWR B 670004 RP700 Front Brake Pad Set is the manufacturer’s direct-replacement performance pad upgrade for the verified vehicles shown in the Vehicle Fitment tab when equipped with 312 mm x 25 mm factory front discs. This is the smaller-brake VWR670004 pad shape; it must not be ordered for the 340 mm Performance brake package or later 357 mm MQB Evo Performance brakes.
RP700 uses RacingLine’s medium-hardness aramid-fibre friction compound, developed through road and track testing to balance useful cold response with substantially stronger resistance to high-temperature fade. Pedal response is progressive and predictable, making the pad suitable for daily driving, fast-road use and occasional track days while retaining the original factory calipers and rotors.
VWR670004 does not include a new front pad-wear sensor. The existing sensor must be transferred only if serviceable, or a correct replacement sensor must be supplied separately. The exact brake size and pad outline remain more important than the model badge because several listed vehicles were factory-built with more than one brake package.

Verified fitment: every Vehicle Fitment row preserves RacingLine’s engine, trim and brake-package limits. Polo AW and Audi A1 GB are explicitly front-only applications. Golf GTI fitment is restricted to non-Performance-Package cars, while the lower-power Passat, Arteon, Tiguan, Octavia, Superb and Kodiaq applications retain their manufacturer exclusions.
Before ordering: physically confirm a 312 x 25 mm front rotor, factory caliper, pad shape and vehicle PR code. Do not rely on model and year alone.
Installation note: brakes are safety-critical. Professional installation, rotor-condition and runout inspection, correct fastener procedures, appropriate fluid and RacingLine’s bedding-in process are required. Replace worn or damaged discs and hardware before use.
