RacingLine VWR B 69G7FR Front Braided Brake Line Set replaces the two factory front rubber flex hoses on the verified Volkswagen Group applications shown in the Vehicle Fitment tab. It is the front-only version of RacingLine’s MQB brake-line family and includes the correct pair of front hoses plus four new sealing washers. The original banjo bolts are reused.

Factory rubber brake hoses can expand slightly as hydraulic pressure and temperature rise. That expansion absorbs a small amount of pedal movement and can contribute to the soft or inconsistent response felt after repeated hard stops. RacingLine’s direct-replacement construction uses a PTFE inner liner reinforced by a stainless-steel braid so the hose maintains its shape under pressure and transfers pedal input more directly to the caliper.

The stainless reinforcement adds resistance to abrasion, road debris and corrosion, while RacingLine uses 303 stainless-steel end fittings and moulded nylon locators so the hoses follow the intended factory routing. RacingLine specifies compatibility with standard DOT 4 and suitable high-performance brake fluids. Its published hose-family temperature capability extends from -73°C to +260°C depending on system pressure, making the material package suitable for daily road use, fast-road driving and occasional circuit work.

Because this is the front-only set, it is also the correct RacingLine option for the manufacturer-listed MQB A0 applications such as Polo AW, T-Cross, Audi A1 GB, Ibiza 6F, Arona, Fabia IV, Kamiq and Scala. RacingLine explicitly states that only the front hose set is available for those MQB A0 vehicles; they have therefore been included here and deliberately excluded from the rear-line product.

Important front-brake restriction: this set is not compatible with the CUPRA Performance Pack 370 mm Brembo four-piston front brake package. Confirm the original hose routing, caliper connection and chassis platform before ordering. A model name alone is not sufficient where optional brake packages were available.

Installation: brake hydraulics are safety-critical. Fitment should be performed by a qualified technician. Reuse the original banjo bolts only if they are serviceable, install the supplied new sealing washers, route every hose without twist or contact through full steering and suspension travel, torque fittings to the vehicle manufacturer’s specification, fill with suitable fresh fluid and bleed the complete system. Check carefully for leaks and verify a firm pedal before road testing.
