RacingLine VWR B 69G7RR Rear Braided Brake Line Set replaces the two factory rear rubber flex hoses on compatible MQB and MQB Evo vehicles fitted with an electronic parking brake. It includes the correct rear hose pair and four new sealing washers. The original banjo bolts are reused. This SKU is axle-specific and must not be confused with the VWR69G7FR front set.

Factory rubber brake hoses can expand slightly as hydraulic pressure and temperature rise. That expansion absorbs a small amount of pedal movement and can contribute to the soft or inconsistent response felt after repeated hard stops. RacingLine’s direct-replacement construction uses a PTFE inner liner reinforced by a stainless-steel braid so the hose maintains its shape under pressure and transfers pedal input more directly to the caliper.

The stainless reinforcement adds resistance to abrasion, road debris and corrosion, while RacingLine uses 303 stainless-steel end fittings and moulded nylon locators so the hoses follow the intended factory routing. RacingLine specifies compatibility with standard DOT 4 and suitable high-performance brake fluids. Its published hose-family temperature capability extends from -73°C to +260°C depending on system pressure, making the material package suitable for daily road use, fast-road driving and occasional circuit work.

The rear hoses use different bends and end geometry from the front components so that they follow the intended rear suspension and caliper routing. The component-correct product image shows the short formed metal sections and rear-specific connections supplied with VWR69G7RR. The electronic-parking-brake requirement is essential: RacingLine states that these rear hoses are not suitable for vehicles with a conventional cable-operated handbrake.

Important rear-brake restriction: do not order this rear set for a vehicle with a cable handbrake. The MQB A0 applications in RacingLine’s table are front-lines-only and are intentionally excluded from this product’s Vehicle Fitment tab. Confirm the original rear hose ends, parking-brake type and chassis platform before ordering.

Installation: brake hydraulics are safety-critical. Professional installation is recommended. Reuse the original banjo bolts only if serviceable, install the supplied new washers, route the lines without twist or contact through full suspension movement, torque connections to the vehicle manufacturer’s specification, refill with suitable fresh brake fluid and bleed the complete system. Inspect every union for leaks and verify a firm pedal before road testing.
