RacingLine VWR B 670011 RP700 Front Brake Pad Set upgrades the factory 357 mm MQB Evo Performance brakes fitted to the verified vehicles shown in the Vehicle Fitment tab. It is the exact front pad configuration for the 357 mm x 34 mm factory rotor; it is not the pad for a regular Golf Mk8 GTI or for the smaller 340 mm brake package.

RacingLine developed the RP700 medium-hardness aramid-fibre compound through extensive fast-road and track testing. It is designed to deliver confident cold response, progressive pedal feel and substantially improved fade resistance when repeated hard stops raise brake temperature. RacingLine lists the compound as ECE R90 approved, making it a performance-oriented direct replacement that remains suitable for daily road use.

The pads install into the original factory Performance calipers. VWR670011 does not include a new front pad-wear sensor: the original sensor must be transferred if serviceable or replaced separately. That distinction is important when comparing it with RacingLine’s VWR670006 front pad set for 340 mm brakes.

Verified fitment: the Golf Mk8 row is restricted to GTI Clubsport, R and R Wagon/Estate applications and explicitly excludes the regular GTI. Arteon R includes Fastback and Shooting Brake, Tiguan is split between Tiguan R and the manufacturer-listed 245PS model with 357 mm brakes, and Audi S3 8Y is retained as the current official application.

Before ordering: physically confirm the 357 x 34 mm front rotor and factory Performance caliper. Model name alone is not enough because several MQB Evo vehicles were supplied with different brake packages.

Installation note: brakes are safety-critical. Professional installation, rotor-condition and runout inspection, correct wear-sensor handling and RacingLine’s bedding-in procedure are required. Replace damaged rotors and use suitable high-temperature brake fluid when the vehicle will see demanding road or track use.
