RacingLine Uprated Transmission Mount – Volkswagen Golf Mk7/Mk8 / Audi A3/S3 / CUPRA & SEAT Leon is a complete uprated replacement for the factory upper transmission mount, developed for confirmed Volkswagen Golf, Audi A3/S3/TT, CUPRA and SEAT MQB/MQB Evo 2.0 TSI/TFSI applications. It is designed to control drivetrain movement more precisely during hard acceleration, rapid gear changes and on/off-throttle transitions, helping the car put power down cleanly and reducing the loose, juddering sensation associated with worn or soft original mounts.

RacingLine machines the mount hardware from T6061 billet aluminium and pairs it with a carefully developed polymer stiffness. The result is a stronger, more accurately located drivetrain with sharper response and substantially reduced wheel hop, while retaining controlled compliance rather than using a crude void-filling insert. This gearbox-side upper mount supports and locates the transmission under load.

This MQB / MQB Evo component can be used as part of RacingLine’s matched three-point drivetrain mounting system. Upper engine and transmission mounts provide the greatest drivetrain location when fitted together; the lower dogbone mount controls much of the fore/aft movement and is often the preferred first step for a road car.
