Description
RacingLine VWR B 670005 RP700 Rear Brake Pad Set is the electric-parking-brake rear pad for verified MQB applications using either 300 mm x 12 mm or 272 mm x 10 mm solid, non-ventilated rear discs. It is not interchangeable with the manual-parking-brake VWR670008 pad or the VWR670007 pad for 310 x 22 mm ventilated rear brakes.
RacingLine’s RP700 medium-hardness aramid-fibre compound is designed to deliver progressive response, useful cold bite and much greater resistance to fade under repeated heavy braking. It retains the original rear calipers and discs, making it a focused fast-road and occasional-track upgrade without changing the complete brake system.
The manufacturer lists the same vehicle families with several possible brake configurations, so this product is intentionally conditional. It must only be selected when the car physically has the stated solid rear-disc size and an electric parking brake. A model/year match by itself is not sufficient.

Verified fitment: Polo AW and Audi A1 GB have been excluded because RacingLine marks those applications front only. Up GTI is also excluded from the rear set because the listed rear pad dimensions are not established for that vehicle. All retained rows carry the exact electric-parking-brake and solid-disc restrictions, plus the manufacturer’s engine and trim exclusions.
Before ordering: physically confirm the rear rotor is solid rather than ventilated, measure 300 x 12 mm or 272 x 10 mm, confirm the electric parking brake and compare the pad outline or PR code. If the vehicle has a manual parking brake, use the separately listed VWR670008 application only where all other conditions match.
Installation note: brakes are safety-critical. Professional installation with an appropriate diagnostic service mode for the electric parking brake, rotor inspection, correct fastener procedures and RacingLine’s bedding-in process is required.
