Description
RacingLine VWR B 670008 RP700 Rear Brake Pad Set is the manual-parking-brake rear pad shape used across two manufacturer-listed MQB brake groups: 300 mm x 12 mm or 272 mm x 10 mm solid rear discs, and selected higher-performance vehicles with 310 mm x 22 mm ventilated rear discs. Every Vehicle Fitment row states which disc group applies.
RP700 is RacingLine’s medium-hardness aramid-fibre friction compound, developed to combine reliable cold response and progressive pedal feel with substantially stronger resistance to fade as brake temperature rises. It is a direct replacement for the original pads and is aimed at demanding daily use, fast-road driving and occasional track days.
This product is strictly for a manual parking brake. It must not be installed in an electric-parking-brake caliper even where the model name, year and disc diameter appear similar. RacingLine assigns VWR670005 or VWR670007 to the corresponding electric-parking-brake applications, depending on the rear disc package.

Verified fitment: smaller-brake rows preserve RacingLine’s non-Performance and lower-power engine restrictions. Separate performance rows cover the manufacturer’s 310 x 22 mm group, including Golf R/GTI Performance variants, S3, SQ2, Leon Cupra, Octavia vRS and other specifically listed applications. Polo AW and Audi A1 GB are excluded because RacingLine marks them front only; Up GTI is also excluded from the rear set.
Before ordering: confirm the vehicle has a manual parking-brake lever, identify whether the rear rotor is solid or ventilated, measure the rotor and compare the pad outline or vehicle PR code. Imported and market-specific vehicles can differ from Australian-delivered examples.
Installation note: brakes are safety-critical. Professional installation, rotor-condition and runout inspection, correct fastener procedures and RacingLine’s bedding-in process are required. Replace worn or damaged discs and hardware before use.
