RacingLine VWR B 670010 RP700 Rear Brake Pad Set is a direct-replacement performance pad upgrade for the verified MQB Evo vehicles shown in the Vehicle Fitment tab. It is engineered specifically for the later 310 mm x 22 mm ventilated rear brake package with an electric parking brake. RacingLine identifies the VWR670010 pad as the 55.7 mm MQB Evo rear shape; it must not be confused with the different VWR670007/VWR670008 MQB pad family.

RP700 uses a medium-hardness aramid-fibre friction compound developed through road and track testing. The aim is stronger, more progressive pedal response and far greater resistance to high-temperature fade while retaining useful cold bite for a car that is driven every day. RacingLine also lists the RP700 compound as ECE R90 approved.

This set works with the original rear calipers and discs, making it a focused upgrade without changing the rest of the factory brake hardware. It is well suited to fast-road use and occasional track days where standard friction material can lose consistency as temperatures rise.

Verified fitment: only the current RacingLine VWR670010 application table is represented in the Vehicle Fitment tab. The Golf Mk8 row is limited in its engine note to GTI, GTI Clubsport, GTD, GTE, R and R Wagon/Estate brake packages. Audi RS3 Sedan and Sportback are preserved separately, while the Formentor 245PS/310PS and VZ5 applications retain their explicit powertrain restrictions.

Before ordering: confirm a 310 x 22 mm ventilated rear rotor, electric parking brake, factory PR code and pad outline. MQB and MQB Evo rear pads look similar but RacingLine records different heights and part numbers.

Installation note: brakes are safety-critical. Professional installation, disc-condition and runout inspection, correct fastener procedures and RacingLine’s bedding-in process are required. Replace worn or damaged rotors and use suitable high-temperature brake fluid for demanding use.
